Custom Composition
Submit a nominal alloy recipe for material review. Keep the original element proportions and state atomic percent (at%) or weight percent (wt%); the basis is part of the requirement.
Choose Your Material Form
| Requested form | What to specify |
|---|---|
| Sputtering target | Composition and basis, purity or impurity limits, target dimensions, quantity in pieces, backing plate and bonding requirements. |
| Powder | Composition and basis, particle-size interval, morphology requirement, quantity with g or kg explicitly stated, impurity and characterization requirements. |
| Bulk / ingot or another form | Requested geometry, dimensions, quantity and unit, application and testing requirements. The proposed manufacturing route requires review. |
From recipe to material review
- Enter the original recipe and choose at% or wt% in the existing calculator.
- Choose the requested material form and provide dimensions or particle size.
- Enter supply quantity with its actual unit, and put testing and documentation requirements in the notes.
- Select “Request a material review” to carry the recipe and requirements to the existing quote form.
Prepare a composition and request a material review
The calculator's nominal CoCrFeMnNi example is a research composition example, not a stock statement or a guarantee that every form is available. Conversion results do not establish manufacturability, phase constitution or deposited-film composition. The original inputs remain distinct from calculated values.
For existing options, see HEA and multi-principal element materials and custom materials services. For a fixed written specification, use the quotation form and include the complete recipe, basis and requested form.
Final specifications, available configurations, pricing, and lead time are confirmed during quotation.
