How Our RFQ Process Works
Tell Us What You Need
Share the material, specifications, quantity, dimensions, purity, composition, form, and any other requirements. Custom material requests are welcome even if the exact product is not listed.
Technical Review
We review the specifications, sourcing or manufacturing feasibility, quantity, documentation, and delivery needs. We may contact you for clarification.
Formal Quotation
Your quotation may confirm the product, specifications, quantity, pricing, estimated lead time, shipping and payment terms, validity, and any special conditions.
Order Confirmation
Once you accept the quotation, follow its ordering instructions. Ordering and payment arrangements are confirmed directly with Basis Materials in the quotation.
Production or Procurement
For made-to-order products, work begins after required payment, purchase-order acceptance, drawing approval, or final specification confirmation. Later changes may affect price and lead time.
Shipment
After applicable production and processing, products are inspected and prepared for shipment. Some orders ship directly from an approved manufacturer or supplier. Basis Materials remains your commercial contact; tracking is provided where available.
