Specify charge, atmosphere, temperature and hold time, drawing revision, OD/ID, external height, internal depth, wall/base thickness, quantity in pieces and inspection needs.
Geometry and construction
Machined bodies, pressed-and-sintered bodies, and formed or fabricated constructions can be reviewed against the drawing. Specify if a one-piece body is required.
Nominal capacity identifies a configuration, not a guaranteed working fill. External height, base thickness, tolerances and any unspecified dimensions are agreed on the final drawing.
Process review
Share the charge composition, atmosphere, temperature definition, hold time, thermal cycles and contamination limits. No universal melt compatibility or continuous-use temperature is implied.
