Specify charge, atmosphere, temperature and hold time, drawing revision, OD/ID, external height, internal depth, wall/base thickness, quantity in pieces and inspection needs.
Geometry and construction
Deep drawing, spinning or machining can be considered for niobium cup geometries. Specify joint restrictions; the final route, any joining and finishing are reviewed for the drawing.
Nominal capacity identifies a configuration, not a guaranteed working fill. External height, base thickness, tolerances and any unspecified dimensions are agreed on the final drawing.
Process review
Share the charge composition, atmosphere, temperature definition, hold time, thermal cycles and contamination limits. No universal melt compatibility or continuous-use temperature is implied.
